Spanish Classes

SPANISH FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVING - AUTUMN 2008

Understory continues to offer Spanish Classes this fall, Oct. 2 through Dec. 4 in South Minneapolis.

Beginner and Intermediate classes are offered, with a focus on practical Spanish for doing things in a sustainable world: building, growing food, cooking, interacting with neighbors, and more.

Classes will be divided between core grammar/capacity building, and expanding vocabulary. Fun will be had.

Beginning Spanish

¡Español!

This adult class is designed for individuals who have had little to no Spanish experience. The focus is CONVERSATIONAL, with emphasis placed on pronunciation, basic grammar and a core vocabulary.

Intermediate Spanish

¡Adelante con el español!

This adult class is designed for individuals who have a basis in at least the present tense of Spanish. The focus is CONVERSATIONAL, based on a core vocabulary, and supplemented by grammar and skill-building games. Skill levels will vary within the class, but a general basic familiarity with Spanish present tense and some experience with past tense is expected.
